Objectives: To provide individuals with an understanding of the Agile mindset, values, principles, and frameworks, and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively apply Agile mindset in their personal and professional lives and work environment.

Duration: 6 hrs

Tue &Thu, 6pm to 7pm (EST) for 3 weeks, OR

Sat & Sun, 12pm to 3.30pm (EST) for 1 weekend

Target Audience:

  • Anyone who is looking to increase their knowledge and understanding of Agile and how it can be applied in their personal and professional lives or in different industries and projects.

  • Individuals who are interested in learning Agile or are new to Agile and want to learn more about its principles and practices

Prerequisites: None. A basic understanding of project management concepts can be helpful, but not essential.

Course Overview:

This course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, group discussions, and practical exercises.

Some of the topics included in this course are:

Introduction to Agile: This section provides an overview of the Agile values, principles, mindset, agile evolution, agile frameworks, and agile applications

Agile Mindset and Waterfall Approach: Participants will learn about the Agile mindset and how it differs from Waterfall (traditional project management) approach.

Agile Frameworks/Methodologies: Participants will become familiar with the most popular Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and learn how to choose the right framework for their project.

Agile Planning and Estimation: Participants will learn how to plan and estimate work in an Agile environment, including how to prioritize work, manage backlogs, and measure progress.

Agile in Practice: Participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a practical and Knowledge check exercises throughout the course

After completing Agile Fundamentals Training, there are several next steps individuals can take to further their Agile education and enhance their skills and knowledge. Some of the common next steps include:

Practical experience: Participants can apply their newfound Agile knowledge by working on real-life projects and practising what they have learned.

Progressive Agile training: Participants can take in-depth Agile training courses in specific frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to gain a deeper understanding of these frameworks and how to apply them.
